Brief biography. In 1972 Oleg S. Ablyalimov graduated from Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers with a degree in “Diesel Locomotives and Diesel Locomotive Facilities”, qualification “Railway Engineer-Mechanic”. In 1972-1984 and 1985-1993 he worked at Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers and the Institute of Mechanics and Earthquake Resistance of Structures named after M.T. Urazbayev of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a junior researcher and senior researcher, combining scientific research with teaching at the departments of “Rolling Stock”, “Heat Engineering” and “Fundamentals of Machine Design”. From 1993 to 2004 he worked as the head of the department, first deputy general director and a regional manager of joint ventures of Uzbekistan and England, Turkey, Switzerland. From 2004 to 2020 he held the positions of senior lecturer, associate professor, and professor at Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers. He is the author of more than 1030 scientific papers and educational publications, including three monographs, 46 textbooks, teaching aids, and educational literature, as well as over 171 inventions, including 41 computer program registration certificates; he has supervised 23 Master’s students.
